Recovery following Total Knee Replacement Surgery (TKA)

Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of knee arthritis and can result in significant pain and disability. Symptoms are often worse when weight-bearing, and in advanced cases, even normal daily activities can become a challenge.

When movement and pain levels become too significant, knee replacement surgery may be an option. Post surgery, orthopedic patients experience swelling, pain and range of motion (ROM) limitations.

Low level laser therapy in conjunction with MLD treatment focuses on a reduction in post surgical swelling to enhance quicker wound healing and reduction in pain.
